Chinese-American Mandala

I learned that if it's made of atoms, it's a mandala. I learned that I'm a mandala and I'm connected to you.

I learned that the Chinese house has a roof that curves at the end.

What we have in common with Chinese people is that we live on Earth. We're different because we speak a different language.

I liked doing the drawing and coloring.

Note: This mandala was made in a Mandala Project workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their experience. Read more about the workshop.
