153 Mana Mandova

Bulgaria

I drew this because at the moment I feel this way. I see myself as a big eye full of hope, joy, questions and faith.

There are so many colours in it because my feelings are 'multi-coloured.' There are too many labyrinths and paths in me that I either have already gone through or I should go in the future. I suppose I feel better now, when I see myself on this paper just before my eyes.

Note: This mandala was created by an attendee at the first in a series of three conferences called "The Balkan Youth Reconciliation Seminar Series" in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The series is designed to encourage young people to envision a future of peace and identify ways in which they can contribute to that goal.

Cathie LeVasseur, Founder and Executive Director of Journey of the Heart and facilitator of both labyrinth and Mandala Project workshops, recently returned from the conference with wonderful and poignant stories about her experiences working with the Balkan youths.
