I learned that mandalas are everything. They can be beautiful sculptures and drawings. They are made of molecules. I learned that I'm a mandala because even though you can't see the starting of yourself and the ending and you can touch people without even knowing. I learned that Chinese people have different things than us. They have different people there and they make mandalas. The Chinese speak a different language and they have a different alphabet. They have chopsticks and they also have cars. I liked making the Amanda's. I liked it when I learned that everything was a mandala. I like everything that I learned. Note:
This mandala was made in a Mandala Project
workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After
a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with
symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their
experience. Read more about the
workshop. |
