I learned that all things are made of mandalas. I also learned that if it has a center and radiates out it is a mandala. Mandalas also represent symbols and people use them all over the world.

I learned that I am a mandala. I am made up of atoms and atoms are mandalas because they have a center and radiate out. I also learned that I can draw very well.

I learned that China has mainly rice crops and that the color red means a lot to them; They can or massive dragon boats and their artwork is wonderful

Chinese paella have the same transportation as us - boats, cars, bikes etc. They also have McDonald's. The Chinese read up and down and we read side to side. The Chines play with swords and we play with baseballs.

I like the pictures of the Chinese heroes etc. I loved the mandala quilt and the mandalas that we made - they were really fun. Thank you!

Note: This mandala was made in a Mandala Project workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their experience. Read more about the workshop.
