I learned that everything is a mandala and also that a circle and shapes are too. We are mandalas and we wear mandalas.

I learned that Chinese people don't use forks or spoons like us. We both like whales and sea stuff. They wear different clothes than us.

I liked that all of us learned a lot about mandalas and shapes.

Note: This mandala was made in a Mandala Project workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their experience. Read more about the workshop.
