I learned that everything you see is a mandala. I learned that I am connected to everybody by atoms.

I learned that all Chinese people are alike but in different ways.

They are similar to us in the US because they eat food and we all live on Earth. Our houses are different.

I liked everything about the workshop.

Note: This mandala was made in a Mandala Project workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their experience. Read more about the workshop.
