I learned that everything is a mandala. I also learned that a mandala doesn't have to be a perfect circle. I learned that I'm connected to everything around me.

I learned that China and the USA aren't that different from eachother. The Chinese have food like us. We both have clothes. We have a 26 letter alphabet, but the Chinese have over 3 million characters.

I liked coloring the "similarities" mandala. I also liked the movie.

Note: This mandala was made in a Mandala Project workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their experience. Read more about the workshop.
