I learned that you can find mandalas everywhere and that I am connected to people all over the world.

I learned that Chinese people have roofs that spirits fly off of. They also have mandalas everywhere.

We all live on the earth and we all go to school. We have alot of differences, mostly in culture.

I liked making our own mandalas.

Note: This mandala was made in a Mandala Project workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their experience. Read more about the workshop.
