I learned that mandalas are make up microscopic atoms. I learned that I am connected to someone in Maine or somewhere by atoms. I am a mandala. I learned that Chinese people are very similar to American people by the things they do or what they eat. We both have specific sports we play. We both eat. Our houses are different from theirs. I liked getting examples and I liked the props. Note:
This mandala was made in a Mandala Project
workshop called "Chinese-American Mandala" in May, 2000. After
a presentation on Chinese culture, each student created a mandala with
symbols from both Chinese and American cultures and then wrote about their
experience. Read more about the
workshop. |
