This mandala was created after a study of Atlantean mythology. It is meant to inspire at once a sense of the ancient, the newly discovered and the spiritual.

I had not heard the term "mandala" when I created this image. It was pointed out to me by an artist friend that it fit the definition. The image has become important to me in that regard.

I have since become a fan of others' mandala art, and hope to create more images (not necessarily of mandalas) in what I call now this "Atlantean" theme. The image was created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop on a Macintosh G3.
