USATo me mandalas are representitive of the high energy surrounding the sort of computer digital art I am currently involved in creating. Those involved in this field often share the same feelings and are from all sorts of levels in life from the very bottom to the very top of the chain... but all have that one thing in common - and that 's energy.
I was born in Brockton, Mass. in 1959 and grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. I worked my way up as a pencil (graphite) artist into what I am mainly known for today and that is a colored Pencil artist (thus my internet name of Coloredpencilguy). I have been the Vice President (elect) 3 1/2 years and then now the President for 2 1/2 years for the State of Colorado's colored pencil art CPSA District Chapter 206 ( The Colored Pencil Society Of America) CPSA (www.cpsa.org) and have been working with the colored pencil medium for the past 17 years or so. Since 1998 I have had a PowerMac G3/233 and have begun to work with yet another media or medium (Photoshop/Illustrator, Strata Studio Pro, Bryce 4, POSER 3, AppleWorks and a list of other really great digital art content creators). In the fall of 1998 I lost my G3/233 Biege PowerMac to thieves and was fortunate enough to rebound with this really fantastic G3/300 B&W which added a nitro burner to the inside of things. Anyway... here are two contributions to the project.
