Mandalas 21-39 were created in a middle school art class taught by Carol Orzack in Los Angeles.

Ms. Orzack combined lessons in geometry and art with handling of both art and drafting tools.

In future classes, Ms. Orzack will be incorporating additional subject matter into the lesson plan as well as inviting students to share their experiences and thoughts in written form.

Ms. Orzack has inspired many students in both her art and special education classes with a multicultural curriculum teaching tolerance and art appreciation. Her student's work was recently shown in Japan and she has received recognition for mural and set design projects in her school district.
